Firstly: Hilton San Francisco? USD 14 A DAY FOR INTERNET ACCESS?!? Practically every 2-3 star hotel in the area offers Wi-Fi net access for free, if only in their lobby. Trying to squeeze your customers for something that’s rapidly becoming a basic need when it’s offered at a number of places just one block from your hotel just inconveniences them and makes them irritable. Jeez. But your beds are quite comfy.
Secondly, and not chronologically: Singapore Airlines, there are moments when the hot towels your cabin staff hands out is almost worth the $400 premium for tickets on your airline. I miss them achingly when I’m on other airlines.
Grabbed lunch at Lori’s Diner. Free Wi-Fi! Does not make up for the disturbing pubic-hair like strand in the food, thanks very much. One visit is quite enough.
Picked up Devil May Cry 3, for pretty much the same price that an import costs in Singapore anyway. Meh. No shopping related victories here yet.
